Wow these paintings are lame! Actually they worked as a great stepping stone to the paintings that I am working on now. So they have served a purpose. I actually have reworked a few of these and in my opinion they look so much better in life. The texture of the paint adds a lot to my paintings.

this just takes a few hours to scan in pics from sketchbooks and i have so many that it becomes daunting.  here is a sketchbook from just a few years ago. I will post a second set right after this batch.

A lot of figures, human and dogs, bikes and cityscape. While I was uploading these I listened to some MLK speeches. I can't say that I have listened or read many of his words. Very interesting, I recommend it.

new year

Hi there,
So I have been away since the first of the year and have all kinds of work to get posted but will get to it today, tonight and tomorrow. Some new, some old sketchbooks and just a few drawings from the vacation/scouting trip to the west coast. We saw some great paintings while out west and the landscape was inspiring. A move is in order I believe. Will write more later today.

well at least i posted them this morning. did get to spend the last few days working in the studio. Some of these sketches had been posted on my facebook page but as a part of this sketchbook I included them. Still no comments.
